Al Christianson is an executive with experience in infrastructure, business process, and application services for a range of industries and roles from various sales to delivery responsibilities, resulting in a track record of exceeding targeted financial, customer, transformational, and staff results.
Al’s journey included Super Value, Inc. as a computer operator, to EDS starting as a programmer then advancing to account manager, and to Perot Systems as account, regional, business development, marketing, and sales operations management positions prior to joining Dell. Highlights include graduating as an EDS system engineer in record time; account management and application management in the insurance segment for growth oriented companies; manager of an IT organization that was responsible for migrating the replacement for all bank application and infrastructure within a 2-year timeframe to support the bank paradigm and contractual requirements; regional manager for a unit that had unsurpassed growth and margins; business development leader directly responsible for more than $575 million in sold business; sales operations, sales leadership, business development, and marketing leader for healthcare during a 4-year period where sales quadrupled ($4B) and Perot Systems became the HCLS services industry leader; and consolidation experience by leading the global sales operations organization. Since joining Dell, Al’s been involved with a range of activities, including leading the Perot Systems Sales and Marketing acquisition integration into Dell; Services M&A Director resulting in best practices and application modernization acquisitions;  and currently leading a services strategic pursuit sales team driving large deal opportunities.
Al received a bachelor of science degree in management/computer science from Moorhead State University.
